MICHAEL J. FREAGON Michael J. Freagon, 24, of Cadott, died Saturday morning Oct. 16, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born Sept. 22, 1958 in Chippewa Falls and grew up and attended Cadott schools. Mr. Freagon graduated from Cadott High School in 1977 and attended Mount Senario College in Ladysmith. For the past two years, he had been employed by Josifek Construction of Cadott. He had also been a member of the Cadott Red Sox baseball team and was active in many local sports activities. Mr. Freagon is survived by his father, Lyle Freagon; his mother, Thelma Josifek; one brother, Thomas, all of Cadott; two sisters, Linda (Mrs. Roger) Kvapil of Oshkosh and Beverly (Mrs. Dan) Dzienkowski of Boyd; grandmother Henrietta Freagon of Chippewa Falls; and three nieces and three nephews. Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Father Thomas Crowley officiating. The Children's Choir and soloist Tim Bourget sang for the services. Interment was in Bohemian Cemetery, both in Cadott. Friends called from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott. Vigil prayers were said 8 p.m. Monday evening. Pallbearers were Jeff Patchak, Mark Haines, Brian Evjen, Randy Michal, Wayne VanDenHeuvel and Rick Goettl. |
