Mrs. Kathrine Koska
Called by Death

Mrs. Katherine Koska, 71, who resides at Pike Lake, passed away Wednesday evening at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness.  She was taken to the hospital Tuesday.

Deceased was born in Hungary, November 25, 1877 and came to America at the age of 15.  In 1895 she was married to Joseph Koska in Chicago and in 1901 they moved to Jackson, Minn., where they resided for four years before coming to Cadott in 1905.  She has resided in the Pike Lake country ever since.

Mr. Koska preceded her in death on March 27, 1936 and she is survived by two sons and two daughters as follows:  James and Joe Koska of Crescent; Mrs. Mary Zelenka of Crescent and Mrs. Matt Turecek of Cadott.  Two brothers, John and Frank Tomisek and one sister, Mrs. Joe Mrzena, all of Chicago and four grandchildren also survive.

The remains will lie in state at the Leiser Funeral Chapel from Friday morning until the time of the funeral.  Services will be held from the chapel at 1:30 Saturday afternoon and at the Bohemian hall at 2 o'clock.  Interment will be made in the Bohemian Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Wm. Chmelik, Joe and Frank Popelka, Jerry Jiskra, Gene Turecek and James Muska.
