Last rites held for Mrs. Barbara Kure Wednesday Mrs. Barbara Kure, 65, was laid to rest in the Bohemian National Cemetery following funeral services from the Leiser Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Kure, a resident of Jim Falls, died suddenly at her home Saturday night. OFFICIATING at the 2:00 services was Walter Brovald; pallbearers were Emil Odenbach, Jos. Nesvacil Jr., Jos. Nesvacil Sr., Clifford Sippy, Albert Nesvacil, and Jim Michal. Born of February 28, 1894 at South Bend, Washington, the deceased moved to Jim Falls with her parents when she was four years old. On September 18, 1917, she married Rudolph Kure at Cadott. He died in 1955. The Kures farmed in the Town of Arthur from the time of their marriage until 1948, when they retired and moved to Jim Falls where she had since resided. SURVIVORS include her mother, Mrs. Josephine Moucha; two sons, Emil Kure of Jim Falls and Raymond of Eau Claire; two daughters, Miss Helen Kure of Jim Falls and Mrs. Clayton (Gladys) Douglas of Eau Claire; five brothers, Frank of Jim Falls, Stanley of Cornell, Edward of Cadott, Emil of Jim Falls, and Henry; a sister, Mrs. Charles Kycek of Hayward, Minn.; and seven grandchildren. |
