Mrs. M. Odenbach

MRS. MARY Odenbach, 80, a resident of the area died last Tuesday evening at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.  She had been and invalid for several years.

Mary Votava was born on May 3, 1884 in Prague, Czechoslovakia and came to America when she was 20.  She resided in Chicago where she worked and was married in Chicago to Frank Odenbach on April 15, 1911.  They then moved to a farm north of Boyd until their retirement in 1944, when they moved to the Village of Boyd and resided at the home of their daughter and son-in-law.  Mr. Odenbach preceded her in death in 1962.

SHE IS survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank Kastel (Bessie) and Mrs. John Greb (Helen) both of Boyd.  Also surviving are three grandchildren and two great granddaughters.

Friends called at the Supple Funeral Home from Thursday evening until the time of the funeral, which was 9:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Vincent Schwartz officiating.

BURIAL was at Bohemian National Cemetery north of Cadott.

The rosary was recited by the St. Elizabeth's Society at 8:00 o'clock Friday evening, with the parish rosary at 8:30 on the same evening.

MRS. Odenbach was a member of the St. Elizabeth's Society of St. Joseph's Church and an honored member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge having received the 50 year membership certificate with her husband some years ago.
