Age 62. Passed away at the Woodstock Health Care Center in Kenosha, WI, on September 18, 1988. He was born in Chippewa Falls, WI, on July 11, 1926, and had lived in Racine about 30 years. He was married to the former Lorraine Bergerson, on March 23, 1946. He was a former employee of Young Radiator Company. Surviving are his wife, Lorraine of Racine; four sons and daughters-in-law, Duane (Janet) Podhola of California, Dean (Gloria) Podhola of Racine, Darrell (Kaye) Podhola of Waterford, Darwin (Gayle) Podhola of Waukesha, WI; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dianne (Robert) Rosenberg of Cornell, WI, Darlene Friend of Racine, Dawn (Wayne) Simonsen of Racine; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn (Norman) Voss of Carpentersville, IL, Lois (Raymond) Ripenski of Chippewa Falls, WI, Helen (Claude) Wallace of Cassanovia, WI, Edith (David) Popp of Chippewa Falls, WI and Rose (Streeter) Watson of Stanley, WI; nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred, Beatrice and Amelia. A Memorial Service will be held in Jim Falls, Wisconsin at a later date. Cremation will take place.
