Anna L. Roshell

Cadott―Anna L. Roshell, 84, 501 High Street, Romeis Apartments, Chippewa Falls, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1992 at her home.

She was born Nov. 13, 1907 in Boliver, Mo., the daughter of John and Mary Sindelar Nesvacil.

At the age of 4, her family moved to Irving, Kansas. In 1925 she came to the Cadott area, where she had since resided.

She married Joseph Roshell in 1931 at Sacred Heart Church in Jim Falls. Following their marriage they farmed in the town of Arthur for a number of years before moving to Cadott in 1945.

Anna was a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge and was a past president of the Cadott Woman's Club and other organizations.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Eugene (Gene) (Anne A.) Roshell and Sen. Marvin (Barbara A.) Roshell, both of Chippewa Falls; a family friend, former AFA student Edwardo Arguello of Albuquerque, New Mexico; two brothers, twin brother Joseph Nesvacil and John Nesvacil, both of Cadott; two sisters, Mary Larson of Cadott and Rose Letendre of Cornell; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, Frank and William Nesvacil.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Leiser Funeral Home in Cadott with the Rev. Steven Kaste officiating. Burial will be in the Bohemian cemetery near Cadott.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
