Funeral services were held at the Leiser Funeral home in Cadott for John Turecek Jr, former area resident. The Rev. John Wrefard of the First Methodist Church of Chippewa Falls officiated at the 11 o'clock services Wednesday morning.

MRS. ELEANOR Forman was at the organ and Mrs. Ray Post sang "No Night There" and "Jesus, Savior Pilot Me".

Interment was in the Bohemian National Cemetery.

Mr. Turecek passed away at Chippewa Falls on Sunday morning April 9, following a lingering illness.

Born January 5, 1887 at Antigo, he lived with his parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Turecek Sr. at Antigo, Duluth Mn and Cadott.

SURVIVING are four brothers, Matt of Cadott, Eugene of Cornell, Joseph and George of Wittenberg; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Steinmetz, Miss Ella Turecek, both of Cornell and Mrs. Emmett Barney of New Auburn.
