Charles "Chuck" Naiberg, son of Frank Naiberg Sr. and Josephine Roshell, was born August 2 1908 in Marshalltown, Iowa. He died November 8 1996 at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin after 88 years, 3 months and 6 days of life. His obituary appeared in the Thursday, November 14 1996 edition of the Courier-Sentinel. Funeral services were held at Big Drywood Lutheran Church, rural Cadott, November 11 1996 with Rev. Steven Kaste presiding. Chuck was laid to rest November 11 1996 in the Bohemian National Cemetery, Town of Arthur, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.
Chuck was a 50-year member of the ZCBJ Lodge and a member of Big Drywood Lutheran Church. He was a supervisor for 12 years and chairman for 25 years of the Town of Goetz. Chuck was a Chippewa County board member for 35 years, 3 years a board member and 10 years Village of Cadott president. For 15 years he was a local dance hall inspector and was a trustee of the Chippewa County Health Center for 7 years.
Chuck married Marcella Kral September 9 1939 at the Cornell Lutheran Church, Cornell, Wisconsin, with Rev. Alex Thompson officiating. They had one child, Lois (b.1952). Chuck and Marcella farmed the Naiberg homestead until 1973. In that year they sold the farm to Harland and Marilyn Danielson. An auction sale was held October 16 1973. In early January 1974, Chuck and Marcella moved into the retirement home they had built on East Street in Cadott.
Marcella Anna Kral, daughter of Frank and Mary Kral, was born October 8 1916. She died August 4 1989 after 72 years, 9 months and 27 days of life. Funeral services were held at Big Drywood Lutheran Church, rural Cadott, August 7 1989 with Rev. Steven Kaste presiding. She was laid to rest August 7 1989 in the Bohemian National Cemetery, Town of Arthur, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.
