EMMA LANCOR


Emma Lancor, daughter of Mitchell Lancor and Matilda Morelle, was born March 1872 in Michigan. She died circa 1955 after 83 years of life. Emma was laid to rest in the St. Rose Cemetery, Cadott, Wisconsin.

Emma married Robert Selb November 30 1893 in Boyd, Wisconsin.1 They had two children: Frances (b.1895) and Irene (b.1896).

Robert Selb, son of Maximilian and Elisabeth Selb, was born circa 1862 in Germany. He died circa 1922 after 60 years of life. Robert was laid to rest in the St. Rose Cemetery, Cadott, Wisconsin.

In 1900, Emma and Robert, with their daughters Francis and Irene, were living in the Village of Cadott, Wisconsin. Robert was a butcher.2

In 1930, Emma (widowed) was employed as a matron at the Northern Wisconsin Colony and Training School, Town of Lafayette, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.5
