Francisca "Fannie" Rousar, daughter of Joseph Rousar Sr. and Franziska Novotny, was born circa 1868. Not much is known of Francisca. Living descendants of the Rousars have no recollection of her. However, the following documents record her existence:
- July 14 1875 Hamburg Passenger List of the S.S. Pommerania lists 6 yr old Francisca as sailing with her parents, Josef and Franziska, and brother Joseph.1
- July 27 1875 Port of New York Passenger List of the S.S. Pommerania lists 6 yr old Francisca as arriving with her parents, Josef and Franziska, brother Joseph and sister Josepha (Josephine).2
- 1880 U.S. Census for Village of Quarry, Marshall County, Iowa lists 11 yr old Fannie with her parents, Joseph and Fannie, brother Joseph and sister Josie.3
- 1900 U.S. Census for Joseph and Fannie indicates one of their children had died prior to 1900.4
- 1910 U.S. Census for Joseph and Fannie indicates one of their children had died.5
Based on the above information, it appears that Francisca died sometime between 1880 and 1900.
