George Lancor, son of Mitchell Lincourt (aka Lancor) and Matilda Morell, was born March 23 1870 in Marquette, Michigan. He died February 16 1953 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert (Norma) Meyer, in Boyd, Wisconsin after 82 years, 10 months and 24 days of life. Funeral services were held February 20 1953 at the Big Drywood Lutheran Church, Drywood, Wisconsin, with the Rev. John Alver officiating. George was laid to rest February 20 1953 in the Big Drywood Lutheran Church Cemetery, Goetz Township, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.1
George married Emma Amundson November 23 1893 in the Town of Sigel, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.2 They had six children: Raymond (b.1894), Alvin (b.1895), Richard (b.1897), Lawrence (b. 1904), Norma (b.1908) and Margaret (b.1910).
Emma Amundson, daughter of Amund and Berthea Amundson, was born May 1876 in Hartford, Wisconsin. She died circa 1940 after 64 years of life. Emma was laid to rest in the Big Drywood Lutheran Church Cemetery, Goetz Township, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.
