Alexander Mitchell Lancor and Adelia Mondeau were married February 9 1885.1 They had three children: Albert (b.1885), Archie (b.1886), and Agnes (b.1888).
Adelia "Delia" Mondeau, daughter of Alexander and Mary Mondoux, was born January 22 1864 in St-Michel d'Yamaska, Québec, Canada. Delia divorced Alex March 23 1893. She married George St. Germain September 22 1893 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Delia died March 29 1914 in Bovill, Idaho after 50 years, 2 months and 7 days of life. She was laid to rest in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.2
On January 16 1893, in the Circuit Court of Eau Claire County, Wisconsin, Delia filed for a divorce from Alex. In the divorce action, it was stated that Alex had deserted Delia and that they had not lived with each other for nearly four years. It further stated that Delia was destitute of means, and had nothing whatsoever with which to support herself and children or to carry on the case and pay counsel fees with, except what money she earned by her own labor in doing housework. On February 15 1893, Alex was summoned to appear in the divorce action. According to court records, Alex never responded to the summons. Their divorce became final March 23 1893. In the judgment, Delia was awarded care and custody of their two children. In addition, Alex was ordered to pay Delia the sum of $500 to cover costs and for alimony3.
