Frank Naiberg Sr. and Josephine Roshell, were married December 17 1892 in Marshalltown, Marshall County, Iowa by a Justice of the Peace. They had six children: Frank Jr. (b.1894), Fred (b.1896), Vlasta (b.1899), Rudolph (b.1906), Charles (b.1908) and James (b.1910).
Frank and Josephine share cropped a piece of land near Le Grand, Iowa for eight years (circa 1905 to 1913). Land in Iowa had gotten expensive, so in 1913, they migrated to Wisconsin and purchased a 160 acre farm in the Town of Goetz. They bred and raised grade Shorthorn cattle, Shropshire sheep, and Brown and Buff Leghorn chickens. Jim and Chuck, their sons, eventually took over operation of the farm. Chuck and Marcella lived on the farm until its sale in 1973.
In 1900, Frank and Josephine, with their children Frank, Fred, and Vlasta, were living in Marshalltown, Marshall County, Iowa. Frank's occupation was recorded as machinist.1
In 1910, Frank and Josephine, with their children Frank, Fred, Vlasta, Rudolph, Charles and James, were farming in the Township of Le Grand, Marshall County, Iowa.2
In 1920, Frank and Josephine, with their children Frank, Vlasta, Rudolph, Charles and James, were farming in the Town of Goetz, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.3
In 1930, Frank and Josephine, with their sons Charles and James, were farming in the Town of Goetz, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.4
