MARRIAGE OF WILLIAM VAN HORN AND MARY SMITH


William Van Horn and Mary Smith were married February 23 1874 in Richland County, Ohio. They had five children: Elizabeth (b.1875), Anna (b.1876), James (b.1878), Alice (b.1881) and Grace (b.1888).

In 1880, William and Mary, with their children Bessy (Elizabeth), Anna and James, were farming in Clear Creek Township, Ashland County, Ohio.1

In 1900, William and Mary, with their children Alice and Grace, were living in the Village of Cadott, Wisconsin. William's occupation was recorded as "carpenter".2

In 1910, William and Mary were farming in the Township of Ludington, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin.3
