MARRIAGE OF JOHN WELLNER SR AND MAGDALENE MUENCH
John Wellner Sr. and Magdalene Muench were married April 26 1876 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kellnersville, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin with Rev. Joseph Maly officiating. They had seven children: John Jr. (b.1879), Joseph (b.1882), Anna (b.1885), Mary (b.1887), Rosa (b.1889), Frank (b.1893) and Edward (b.1896). In 1883, John and Magdalene moved to the Town of Edson, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.
In 1880, John Sr. and Magdalene, with their son John Jr., were living in Cooperstown, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. John Sr. was working as a farmer and a shoemaker. Michael Wellner, John's brother, was living with them at the time and working as a shoemaker's apprentice.1
In 1900, John Sr. and Magdalene, with their children John Jr., Joseph, Anna, Mary, Rosa, Frank and Edward, were farming in the Town of Edson, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.2
In 1910, John Sr. and Magdalene, with their sons Frank and Edward, were farming in the Town of Edson, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.3
